Spot Quantifier Errors

How this works:

  1. Some sentences are correct, others have underlined quantifier errors
  2. Replace only the underlined part (not the whole sentence)
Note:
  • “A lot of” can often replace “much/many” in informal contexts
  • For uncountable nouns, you can use “pieces of” (e.g., “pieces of furniture”)
  • “Much/many” are preferred in formal writing
Example:
For “many researches“, you could enter: much research formal or a lot of research informal

She has many books on her shelf.

We need a little more time.

She has many furnitures in her apartment.
